Katia de Saint Germain appointed Human Resources Director for the Verallia Group

Verallia, Europe’s 1st and the world’s 3rd largest producer of glass packaging for food and beverages, appoints Katia de Saint Germain as Director, Human Resources. Having worked in the industrial sector for almost 20 years, her mastery of business issues combined with her expertise in change management will enable her to support the Group’s evolving needs as it implements its strategic plan, in line with its purpose to “reimagine glass for a sustainable future”.

 

She becomes a member of the Executive Committee and will report directly to Patrice Lucas, Group CEO.

Prior to joining Verallia, Katia de Saint Germain was Vice President Human Resources for the Schneider Electric Group’s medium-voltage industrial perimeter, which includes nearly 8,000 employees and 30 plants worldwide, since 2020. Having joined the Group in 2005 as Deputy Director of Investor Relations, Katia de Saint Germain moved to Human Resources in 2011. She successively held the positions of Human Resources Business Partner and Human Resources Director for Business France, then Vice President HR for the Group’s International Projects division. Before joining the industrial sector, Katia de Saint Germain began her career in banking at Crédit Lyonnais and in broadcasting at TF1. She is a graduate of Paris Dauphine University in Finance and of HEC in Strategic Management.
