A uniquely designed jar for Bonne Maman stewed fruit
Verallia has accompanied Andros in the launching of its first compote products in the refrigerated section of its Bonne Maman brand, available on French supermarket shelves since last October.
For more than two years, Verallia's teams have been working on this development to meet Andros' expectations. The R&D department has worked particularly on the heat-sealed cap.
The jar’s design combines aesthetics and practicality: white glass; external engraving reminiscent of the brand name; high shape and rounded body, for better grip and "spoonability"; lid allowing easy opening.
These jars are manufactured in France, exclusively in Verallia’s Lagnieu facility, where more than 300 people work. With two furnaces, it mainly produces flint glass jars for the food markets.
In France, Verallia is very active in the still and sparkling wine segment. It is also a major player in the spirits, soft drinks and food markets. With an industrial footprint comprising seven glass plants located in the heart of the region and in the vineyards (Lagnieu - 01, Vauxrot - 02, Cognac - 16, Saint-Romain-le-Puy - 42, Oiry - 51, Chalon-sur-Saône - 71, VOA – Verrerie d’Albi - 81), Verallia offers its customers a range of standard and specific products, unique in size and variety.
